Fire next door...

Ok so this fire happened literally round the corner from where I live last night... My house was not one of the ones evacuated but they have had to shut off gas and electricity to the block of houses nearby, and my house was one of them! So i got no electricity at the moment and it could be "a couple of hours" before they get it back on...

This, Lynx and Macca, was why I suddenly disappeared last night... the power didnt get shut off completely until about 4.30am, but before that it was blinking on and off every few minutes from about 11pm onwards!!! (doh)

Oxyacetylene is THE most flammable compound in existence, Im led to believe. They use it for welding and stuff, big bang for your buck i guess

He has just left, and has been told he has power back. I'm sure he'll whore the internet a lot tonight to make up for today.

Right so the power died at about 4.30am this morning and came back at about 3.15pm this afternoon. consequently I spent most of the afternoon round elDiablo's house
