Fitocracy invites

Hey dudes!
Following a Penny Arcade strip on the matter I got myself into an online sports tracking social MMO-y site called Fitocracy. It's supposed to encourage people to work out and live healthy by awarding them points for their activities, levelling up, getting achievments, tracking what your friends are doing and how much have they been moving recently etc.

I personally find it quite motivating! The crossover between workout calendar and MMO is a very good idea. I think it would be fun to have the THN community involved :) If you would like to give it a shot, PM me for an invitation link :)

I've been using the "app" for the last two weeks or so and I must say it really does work once you get a few friends in!

Now excuse me, I have to do more pull-up reps otherwise they'll catch up to me :P

So I found this great triad of sites challenging you to a 6 week training programme you can do at home working towards a goal of
  • 100 push-ups
  • 150 dips
  • 200 crunches
  • 200 squats
I'll be following the first three (running takes care of my legs, squats would be an unneccessary exertion) and am very much looking forward to the results :)
