It may be keeping some hidden archive files. Right click on it in My computer and format drive. Should sort it.

Yup, if you want to get rid of everything on the flash drive (this could include things vital to make the flash drive work, so be careful) go to My Computer, locate the Flash Drive, right click it and select Format.

As I said, it will wipe the thing completely, so to check there's nothing really important on it open the folder that is your flash drive, in the toolbar, click Tools, then folder options, then the view tab, under Hidden File and folders select Show hidden files and folders. There you should be able to see those 107MB of space, and what's taking them up. Cut what you think is necessary and paste them onto your hard drive, then paste them back when you are finished formating.

Hope this helps! :)

If you do find after formatting that it does not work some flash drives come with software CDs that you can use to sort it out. The CDs normally have their own formatter too, so I would suggest that you try that, assuming it came with its own software of course...

But assuming it is a flash drive and not something like an mp3 player then a simple Windows format should do just fine :)
