Flash Videos playing now sound

Hey guys, two days ago I noticed that flash videos (Youtube, GameTrailers etc.) weren't playing any sound. I'm getting sound from games and iTunes but none from flash. I've reinstalled Flash but to no avail.

Anyone got an ideas?

there have been some problems with the recent flash player updates
try downloading the uninstaller from the adobe website and installing an older version of flash see if that cures your problem

It wasn't working because the volume was too low. It's not as idiotic as it sounds. I have suround sound speakers and one speaker was at 0 while the others were at 2, hence why I could hear games but not flash.

On a flash-related note:

I have been having a problem with Firefox/Flash recently that when I go to certain websites that use flash (an example: www.quayradio.com - this is the website for a local radio station of mine) Firefox just crashes to desktop, most likely the result of a segfault.

If I disable the flash addon it doesn't happen.

Not sure if this is a problem with flash, firefox or the combination as (sic) IE7 doesn't crash on that website.
