Looks like FF is due for release this month (http://www.fortress-forever.com/)

Comes with 10 maps and 6 game modes (capture the flag, capture and defend etc).

Come October we'll be able to see how it stacks up against TF2.....choices, choices....

Looks pretty good .

I'm sure it'll gain a following no matter what happens with TF2, since they are really appealing to slightly different audiences (since TF2 is so OTT with the cartoon graphics and expressions... not a criticism, merely an observation ) so it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Maybe worth a bash on the ol' THN server?

More news hot off the web - the server package is now available, which probably means the client side package will be available tomorrow

Kudos to FF for releasing it a couple of days before the TF2 beta
