For those of you looking for something worthwhile to watch as the nights start to draw in, I very strongly reccomend you check out the new series Friday Night Lights.
I've just watched the pilot episode and the shivers are still running up and down my spine. The atmosphere and real'ness of this series is awesome. The constant background soundtrack is amazing and the characterisation of a small texas town and its football team is superb. Also I've not watched anything that made me shed a tear for a long time and that is a testament to how good this is.
This one gets the full five love monkeys from me certainly and I cannot wait to get the next episode once it is out.
