Neh neh!

What else is there to do on a Tuesday evening :p.

Besides, I'm not lame enough to run away from my friends for the whole summer and live with someone elses family where I can't play on the internet :D.

Those are exactly the glasses of wine that we have here at home! Shame they didn't make the bottles larger also :(

Anyway, iirc as many as a third of the addictions treaded in clinics here are gaming addictions. I wonder how this spans across console/pc and online/offline varieties.

Addicted to games, but they are such great fun to play!

IMHO you know you are addicted to something if you start putting it before your relationships with other people. However usually you will be the worse judge of that.

I suspect the simple fact that you're here, reading this, posting to this board, likely means you're not a gaming addict. After all, if you were, wouldn't you be playing right now?

If you're really addicted you will know that something's wrong, unless you're very ignorant. It's called the denial stage because you're aware, but don't want to face it.

For milder addictions you may not notice, but if you don't, then you could question how severely it affects your life, like the example of texting and mobile communications the article gave. Most persons can show some addictive, compulsive, autistic, schizophrenic, antisocial and a whole range of other behaviors in mild forms, it doesn't have to indicate a problem.
