Basically my mouse is one the way out. Looking at buying a new one and I was wondering what people used/suggest?

Currently I'm looking at either the Rat 7 or the Imperator

I use the Logitech G700. Wireless, awesome, fits my hand like a glove, can be used with/without the charging cable attached (so you can continue using it while it's charging), 13 buttons, a bazillion other settings, and just generally full of awesome.

bob will back me up on this :D

I use the G500, and its pretty awesome. no where near as good as the G700 mind you.... But not everyone can afford it.. on that note, Bloke when you buying me mine? =)

As for the RAT.... I gave it a try and personally for me it seemed to lift my palm higher than is comfortable... I noticed a lot of people trying it at the time had the same complaint.

Best of luck.

There is actually an update to the mx518 to update a little but stick with the awesomeness it has always achieved on phone so cant link easily at the mo. I've had and loved an mx518 a g5 and got my g700 on the launch weekend and am missing it in storage atm. I really didn't like the rat. It didn't track comfortably in my hand no matter how hard I tried.

I love logitech mice and would always suggest one to anyone.

I like the swedish Ace Edge 3200, although I think it might not be available in the rest of the world. Apparently there's another version, the Cyber Snipa Silencer, which I guess is exactly the same but with a different brand? I'm really happy with mine, anyway, it fits very very nicely in the hand and is very customisable. Also cool customisable color glow thingie! yay!

Given you have giant ape hands like myself, I'd say stay away from the Logitechs. Once again, it may be due to my fingertip grip I dislike them, but they're just the wrong shape for larger hands. That Imperator looks amazing though.

How big are your hands compared to mine? The only thing i remember you measuring in hands is... OH GOD.

It wasn't a horse o_O

Exactly, and according to Stevie, we both own stables. I'm also pretty sure we compared hand sizes and you were the only one to get anywhere near mine, which is the main information I'm going from, not the horse thing.

I disagree entirely - I have large hands myself and find that the Logitech mice suit me perfectly :p

The only thing I can suggest, if possible, is that you try a couple out before you buy

Logitech MX518 if youre looking for a well designed, nicely sized mouse. Razer Naga if you like lots of buttons :D Recently switched from the MX518 to the Naga and even though its branded as an MMO mouse its been awesome for cs too :D Plus who doesnt like macros!

We discussed this and the whole "How do you hold yours?" thread arose from it! You hold yours in your palm, I hold it in my fingertips! I can't fingertip grip Logitechs as they're just not the right shape, they're too squat.
