God Damn Name Bug

When Ive been playing Bf2 recently It seems that the name bug where it says people are on your team, However when you turn away from them, they shoot you in the bloody face.

I seem to be getting it constantly and its not only for one person. Today while playing with safety I got three people on the opposite team that showed up as being on mine.

It shows 19 people on my team and 13 on theirs, Which means there were three people on their team who showed up on mine

Its really fucking frustrating when you get you face shot off whilst a minute ago you seen them but thought nothing of it.

Not only that but you start to become paranoid and take the time to look at everybody's name on your team before moving on. Does anybody else get this as often or as bad as this?

I've had this a few times, (although mine was more of the "shoot first and get punished for a TK" variety) but I've now got into the habit of looking at the uniforms people are wearing. It only takes a split second but saves a lot of hassle.

Only cause your BF2 is screwed!
I get that problem sometimes, but it's not that often, and it's only one person. I just remember their name and shoot that name every time, which usually works.

I get the problem too from time to time. It's very annoying. Usually only lasts for a round though.

I have not had the problem that way round before... I have only ever had it so that one person from my own team shows up as being on their team. What I try to do is if I do kill them i try to tell them in-game that I have the bug affecting them, and ask them not to TK punish me should I kill them.

It normally works unless they person in question is a complete fucking retard.

When I was on with you the other day Macca your name appeared as red, even though you were on my side. The only reason I didnt shoot you is because I know who you are and I was surprised that you werent on my side.

Maybe you need to re-install?

I would suggest contacting EA - but wraith emailed them with an issue and they were pretty useless.

I had the problem of seeing team mates as enemy before. But after the 1.22 update, it worked fine o-O
