Good Old Gaming.

That's what GOG stands for.

GOG.com is a website that tweaks old games to run on Vista and XP, mentioned on Eurogamer a while back (so some of you should already know about it, and shame on you for not sharing!).

One of the best things about GOG is some games are free! Beneath a Steel Sky and Lure of the Temptress are both £0 to download and play. This makes it accessible to y’all. Superb!

I've found myself looking at it today because I have a hankering to play Die By The Sword after watching Ladyhawke :D.

Lots of games in there, including the old Fallouts and Freespace 2... happy memories.

It looks like a good service, I've never used it myself (yet) but I'm definitely interested in revisiting Descent 2 and Descent 3 once I've cleared my backlog of unfinished games. The only thing I don't like about it is that a lot of the games are overpriced, mostly stemming from the fact they stick to a dual-price point thing (5.99/9.99) for some dumb reason.

I have bought Freespace 2 from there recently.

Also very tempted to get the Simon the Sorceror games too :/
