I never knew TheHavenNet was so closely monitored by the google minions ... today brings a new message that is slightly more informative.



So how do we restrict access to videos then ? How do I restrict anything that I post up in the public domain to only be viewable within York ... ? I thought the whole legal argument behind the caching of online content was that once it had been realeased into the public domain then it is erm ... well "public" really ?

I guess the truth is that all cached content is public domain but "some" files are more public than others *echo's of animal farm*

That particular file you're linking to is a 30 second clip for a movie with purchase information and everything on the sidebar, so it's quite possible there's some kind of licensing that has to go on for it to be displayed there. Movies uploaded by normal users who aren't trying to sell something are a little different, I'd think.
