Apparently (again according to bbc, though I can't find any mention of it on google earth) Google Earth now has an astronomy feature where oyu can view the night sky from any point on the earth and then overlay other information like hubble telelscope pictures and things.
BBC implied that this was live now, but i'm at work so I can't get to google earth...
Still nonetheless, if it happens I think this is a fantastic idea and might hopefully get more people interested in the night sky and the world beyond it...
