I could get:

1) Sparkle AGP Graphic Card GeForce 6200 256MB HDTV+DVI+TV Out @ £49.98

or

2) Sparkle AGP Graphic Card GeForce 6600 256MB HDTV+DVI+TV Out @ £84.99

I can get 1) right now, but I need another £25 for 2) Which I don't have.

Help?

go for the no#2 mate.

I run a 6200 TC and it's a lovely card, but it's no-where near top, it's ok (60 fps on low) when it's paired with a good processor and a loada RAM!. But don't expect it to be useful for more than a year. It's only just coping with BF2 by the skin of it's teeth (though obviously better than your 5200 :p )

Go for the 6600, it'll last longer and be better performance wise!

I had the 6600 on my last comp (T-Bone has it now).
Excellent card that will run everything you throw at it.
Well worth the extra money.

I just got a nvidia 6600GT (256MB) and its running BF2 on 1280 by 764 without a problem , probably one of the best cards for its price :D.

Damn! If all you lads are upgrading to 6600's, after having previously being able to run BF2 anyway, then what am I doing looking for 7800GTXs?

You get a 7800GTX if you want to run at 1600x1200 with AA and AF turned on. Otherwise you get something a little less powerful and save some wonga.

Well, I would. If I had the money and I'd need a new PCI-Express Motherboard, I'd need to make sure the motherboard is compatible with the RAM I have now, I'll need to make sure the motherboard fits into the casing, then I'd have to buy the graphics card itself.

To be honest, When i'm 16, I'm gonna ask for a big shiny alienware. Top of the range. If not i'll rob a bank, that should be fun..
