A couple days ago my PC started being a bit funky when booting, after the windows loading bar the screen would stay black and nothing happened, after many reboots and trips into safe-mode I figured I had sorted it out. To my dismay, it just started happening again.
After uninstalling the ATi drivers and rebooting, device manager refuses to detect the graphics card as anything other than "Video Controller" under "Other Devices", and it still doesn't get past the loading bar.
Tomorrow I plan to reinstall Windows and see if that fixes the problem, however if anyone has any ideas as to what might fix this they are welcome! (Reinstalling windows is a pain )
And yes, this is the same Radeon 1950 pro I got just after my other graphics card died not even 3 months ago.
