I don't now if this has allready bin posted up, i tryed to search for it and did not find it so, hopefully this is new news :D

Rockstar Games has officially announced that the eagerly anticipated European PC release of their much lauded crime/city simulator, GTA IV will be the 21st November. Our friends across the pond can expect to see the game three days earlier, on the 18th November.

Taking advantage of the PC's flexible networking capabilities, the PC version will provide extended multiplayer options over the console version. No other new features have been announced as yet. Similarly, we're still waiting for minimum and recommended system requirements, though as it's a console port we don't expect them to be particularly excessive.

"We are very excited to be releasing the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV." Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar said, "The whole team is dedicated to bringing an amazing gaming experience to the PC. The game looks and plays beautifully on PC and we can't wait for people to play it."

I'm thinking that even though I own this for the xbox, I'll definitely get it for the PC. I'm not a fan of console whatsoever.

Mmm, I was thinking exactly the other way around (that I have it on the console so I'll not bother with the PC).

Have you played the 360 version? If so, could you let us know what you feel about the difference if/when you get it?

On the console for me the driving although I got damn good at it was always hard work, which took some of the GTAness out of the game. Also the lack of decent sides for me meant the game was lacking replayabilty and once I finished the storyline I felt little was drawing me to keep playing. That's never really somet I've had with a GTA game, normally I keep going back for more. Even the multiplayer never really grabbed me.

I found that the multiplayer elements are hugely dependent on who you're playing with. Play with a bunch of clowns and they're crap. Play with a bunch who actually want to play and do have a few skillz then they can be really decent.

I haven't completed the main game, though. Keep getting sidetracked.
