Guild wars FACTIONS

Shadow, T-Bone and I played a little during the open weekend.
Whats new is a couple of new major classes (assassin and enchanter), a load of new skills for all classes and a new premise for the game i.e. the factions bit.
Basically you pick one of two factions and you fight the other faction - the winner gains land and a dividing line on the major map shows how far each factions has moved into the enemies territory. In the main game this then unlocks new things for your faction to do supposedly but this wasnt ready for the demo.
In short its a new game with the same classes and a couple of extras. Personally I didn't see enough to interest me into purchasing it and so I wont be. If you've already played guildwars through a couple of times then essentially you've probably seen enough group combat already - factions just gives you more of the same (i.e. combat) but with a slight twist to the motivation behind it.

So anybody other than me got it? 
If you're worried it'll be more of the same, it's quite the opposite. It's all different, new characters, new skills, new weapons, new armour, new enemies, new henches, new characters, new story etc. If you liked Guild Wars a lot you might find it a bit disconcerting that all of your experience is thrown out of the window. I guess it'll take them a while to balance it properly too

I ordered it on friday so it should be here in few days . Though what i like is that there are core skills , prophecies skills and factions skills it balances the things a bit and seeing the assassin is oneman monk soloer then they just might turn the tide of the battle in Hall of heroes .
Alliance battles hmm though our guild isnt that far /me advises phatbambi and pia speed things up for some pvp action.It is like taking control of a land and then conquering more.
