Im getting Guildwars ,and im wondering what proffesion i should be?

Well you'll have a few character slots so you can mess around with different professions and combinations to get a feel of what you like...

Most "newbies" go for the Warrior/Monk combo (Aka Tank) as the Warrior deals alot of damage and being monk as a second profession gives you spells to heal yourself with (Balthazers spirit being another good spell for that combo).

Mesmer I'd say would be one of the more complicated professions in the game..but with the right spells you'll pwn

Have a look at some of the GW websites around they give detailed descriptions of professions and what spells they have etc...Me and T-Bone prefer :

Yeh Ranger/Monk is a good starting proffesion.

Go with that, should be easy enough to start and be sure to post up your IGN as soon as you creath your character so can invite you to the guild.

I usually play my level 20 monk/necro who is at Droknar's, but I also have a level 17 ranger/ele at Lion's Arch and a level 7ish mesmer/ele somewhere in Ascalon. I'm always willing to help out if I'm not in a mission/quest with people already

I am in a guild, but I'm willing to leave it. He was a nice guy (which was why I joined it), but he didn't seem to get enough players.

How do you get screenshots without text and things like that

I think it's either shift-printscreen or ctrl-printscreen...

There are two ways to do it. One is to hold shift + prnt scrn. OR (And this is how I do it) Press ctrl + shift + h to get rid of the HUD and take it that way. This way you can preview the shot without the HUD and get better angles etc. Also pressing ctrl + shift + h will get the HUD back again when your done.

Yeh I've fallen through the floor there before I think that small area is glitched. Its happened a few other places aswell though but I have no screens.

Don't no if anyone cares but i just got out of the training bit on Guild wars... had that PvP fight with a team member, was cool.... we owned!!

Then we went and fought the big green thing... owned that too!!

Ummm... yeh old Ascalon scares me, lots of red and fire and stuff, so i think i will wait to venture outside, get that armour off whoever it was that said they would buy my first set??

Anyway loving guildwars
