Hey thanks everyone . Yeah I've had a pretty good birthday here in India... turning 19 on the 19th... who'd have thought...
So as is normally the way of things was working hard as ever today, but things here take a different turn from those back home. You see, in India, there is a tradition of having cake on someone's birthday. Nothing unusual about that, you might think, until you consider that this cake is then shoved onto that person's face. :|
Anyway, so beloved am I that I had this happen two times: once shortly after midnight local time, and secondly at about 10.30pm local time. The first was a cold chocolate cake that didn't smear very well (thank goodness) but the second, more pink, cake most certainly did.
Of course, I made sure I wasn't the only one with cake on my face... prompting something of a foodfight!
Anyway I've uploaded images from my birthday for those that are interested, you can find the full lot here.
