So, the server filled up at normal speed tonight, with hardcore on, it was not my intent to leave it on, but alas i went afk and it had 9 ppl when i got back, my bad, i will not be running hardcore on tuesdays again, as A it isnt fair*, and B certain people er nothing take away new players.
If anyone wants to request hardcore mode when the server is empty via a steam message is will oblige you and switch it over, as long as its empty(less than 8 players) and not tuesday. Hardcore would then be deactivated the following morning or when the server is next empty.
It was interesting that far fewer players left the server over the course of the night, the server count never dropped to 27 where normally its frequently drops to 22.
*While we have no players who refuse to play on normal mode, we do have the opposite and as such it isnt fair to run hardcore on tuesdays.
