wow. I literally did this an hour ago to try and see if I could get rock band / 2 working as my TV has horrible lag! What a coincidence.

Yes its possible use a tool called "google" :)

Hint: It's called PCSX2

unfortunately the ps2 emulator still has a lot of problems with a lot of games. its made leaps and bounds over the past 3 years in that almost all games will start up, but getting them all running successfully is a lil more tricky :) good luck though (it may, in the ps2's case, be easier and cheaper to just buy an old ps2 and ermm,.. acquire? the titles you want through other means)

Be careful not to cross the borders of legality. Emulators are allowed, but downloading and or playing games on them aren't (unless you own them, i.e. in form of a physical copy).

I play a GBA/VBA emulator all the time and no problem, isnt it like downloading music? we arent really allowed to do that as long as itunes is around charging for songs, isnt it the same?

You also need to take the bios off your own ps2 as well to get it to run, so you need to own one of those too which luckily I do! \o/
