Headphones

So I managed to break my headphones not long before easter, and my brothers during (Still haven't told him :p) somehow, so am in need a replacment.

Looking for some that have reasonable sound quality, good bass, small enough to wear while riding a bike, and bulky enough so they don't break when I get up and forget I'm still wearing them, and they fling off my head into my drawers :)

Anyone got any suggestions?

PS. Don't need a built in mic or anything, my desk mic is fine :P

EDIT: Oh ya, the previous headphones are...

Sony MDR-V300 DJ Headphones

I guess, given the bike reference, that they need to be stereo headphones, not 5.1 or whatever?

Maybe the problem here is that you need to not forget you are wearing them, and in fact need something bigger?

I would suggest a separate set of in-ear earphones for wearing while riding your bike, then a separate headset to use for your PC.

Yeah :)

How does that happen, exactly?

Because of the way my PC is set up, the cable of the headphones had an annoying tendancy to get ran over and tagled up with my PC chair's ickle wheels, so I put a small nail into the front of the desk and wrapped the cable around with enough slack so I could freely roll from desk to printer and such without being tethered.

I would suggest a separate set of in-ear earphones for wearing while riding your bike, then a separate headset to use for your PC.

I do have a set of in-ear ones (Skullcandy ones, awesome sound might I add), but I have problems with in-ear ones 'cause of things you probably don't want to know about :P

EDIT: Just saw the "multi-quote" button >->

I would suggest a pair of relatively inexpensive senn over ears. My personal favourites are HD 435. The sound quality is great really nice bass and relatively robust. Slightly cheaper but still good the HD 205, use these at work a fair bit and they do the job fairly well.

Neither of these will make amazing gaming headsets as they are aiming more towards the audio media end of the spectrum, both do an adequate job and the sound quality either way is pretty damn good for a £20-30 headset.
