Hello old and new

Hello everyone,

first off I suppose I better introduce myself to those who don't know me.

I'm Duren, long time gamer and member of THN. I've not been about that much over the last ohhh 8 months or so... a long time indeed it seems.

But hello to you all if you don't know me... and a big hello to those who do!

I've got some news for you all anyways.

I finished my last contract job there a couple of weeks ago which involved alot of travelling about and such and I didnt really have a fixed abode or a home to call my own... at work or in my personal life. Last week I went for an interview doing first line support for BT Managed Services. I thankfully got the job.

I now have a home... a desk and such. So I may find time to post on the forums again and say hello alot more frequently than I did before... I will be going home at a set time and have a internet connection full time at home and after I do my exam next tuesday I'd like to get into gaming alot more.

Haven has been gently...hmm what would be the word... harassing me to buy WoW of which I am tempted to do as I'd like somewhere to escape to every so often and kill things.

If anyone wants to organise an oldstyle NS gathering or something for some night I'd be all up for it next week.

I look forward to getting more involved in THN once again

Travian is still going through under SC, as we were just too small to support ourselves in THN and people were deserting as we werent able to protect them.

IK We are branching off though as there was just too many players in our Alliance. So now there is THN and TNHN with support for more players if they want to join.

I may get BF2 playing at some point though I need more memory for my laptop. With paying off my car and having a permenant job I can start looking at doing these things now. woohooo...

Good to hear things are sorting out Duren, someone said that the job might be in Scotland? Is this true?

If not there's plans in the offing for another meet this time in Scotland, would be good if you can make it .

SgtSafety: No I'm not drinking as much at all, I've given up everything it seems these days. I rarely go out the weekends or drink at the weekends. Been too caught up in doing stuff or study.

SgtFury: Afraid the job is still in Belfast. Up airport road so its close to where I'm living at the moment which is good 10 mins to work in the morning. I'm still hoping to get to Scotland as I'd like to do an HNC in the Jewel & Esk Valley College.

I plan to make the Meet in August with everyone... should be a good laugh indeed.

DUREN!. Welcome back my old css buddy . It doesnt really seem like you've been away as Ive seen you on IK. Anyway welcom back. We could maybe get a wee game of CSS sometime since theres someone to play with . Shame your off the "whisky and white", it was quite funny playing counter strike when you had a bit too much too drink . I vagely remember playing cs_compound and you were pretty drunk - somehow you were better than you usually were .
