Chaps,
this is an idea I've come across on God-knows-which guild's site. Who of you would be interested in running all the heroics there are in a row?

Why? Because they are there.
When? Whenever it would be the most convenient for all of us.
Who? Whever wants, although there are some practical limitations in the group setup (I was thinking along the lines of paladin tank, me healing, mage, warlock and a rogue, but that can obviously change depending on who would like to participate).

It's rather crazy idea, but it can be done, takes about 15 hours and we DO have the gear to back it up. I don't mention the badges, those are just a nice topping, this would be mostly a fun event :)

So, who would be interested? Post whatever you feel is relevant, along with personal comments, date/time preferrences etc.

id be up for the idea if i was the one healing XD. besides all of them o.o sounds a bit much, more than im willing to do all in one long go.

Im up for the idea of multiple heroic runs in a day but all of them sounds a bit much :p

if you need DPS i suppose i could bring zhinrak to a few but as i said for now ill be fighting you for role of heal0r. that or ill just have to steal my own tank!

This is a pretty nice idea although it would most likely mean taking a day off the 25-man progression because few people would be able to do this sort of thing outside of a weekend.

However, it would be awesome fun and gear-wise it's even more bang for the buck than T5, so I'd be in. My preference would clearly be a Saturday because I can hardly think of any other day of the week where I can play 15 hours in a single stretch.

Well I can do this on a weekday or a weekend as a Healer atm, but if you give me a few weeks I might get Globbit geared and kitted so i could do DPS or Tank

Most likely yes, with like short break after few heroics. We did like 5 today and tbh I really felt them under my skin. But idea is good, I'm up for it.

I prefer "badge runs", like that one done earlier today where we decide which heroic to goto next. Today we did (in order):

Black Morass
Steamvaults
Hellfire Ramparts
Botanica

Really should do those more often...

If anyone feels up for putting in a little extra organisation, something that could be done would be to list all heroic instances, and get a list of who would be up for which heroic. Then just swap in people so that everyone can have a break, but keeping the marathon going...

Like a relay race I guess :p

Oh, and if this does go through, and for some crazy reason you want some ele shaman DPS, count me in for any heroics ;)

That's not a bad idea at all, although it doesn't provide the real epicness of running them all with one group :)

I'll give it one more day in present state to see what more people think, then do something about the organisation.

As for breaks, those would mostly be "5 min bio + strech your legs", possibly with one somewhat longer to get some food :)

It really IS doable in about 15 hours, but yes, the estimate is a little optimistic and accounts for very few wipes.

Ok i've put some thought into this and I think we should put up some time periods that may fit people. perhaps start a vote to see if people are more available for a weekend or weekday. Would you attempt this between 12 midnight - 3 pm? so that it didn't get in the way of raiding?

0000-1500 would be a hard one, especially the "dog's watch" around 0400, but it's true that it wouldn't interfere with raiding.

However, it should be noted that whoever would survive this would very likely NOT be in mood and state for raiding the night before or after, so I wonder if that's really a solution.

Yeah I wasn't really putting it forward as an end solution but just the sort of thing we need to be thinking about.
