Bear Grylls would absolutely win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :p Am I the only guy here who is actually a fan of him? True, this was hilarious, but some of the stuff he does is truly awesome, and I genuinely find his show informative...... Anyone else agree.....? *goes back to cave*

Bear Grylls is awesome for the fact he eats pretty much everything he comes across. He'll kill it, take a bite out of it raw, spit it out and say it tastes better cooked, then proceeds to cook the rest of it. Happens every time in every place he goes, I love him just for that :p

I agree, decky. Let's not forget that Mr. Grylls has some Special Air Service experience; reserve experience, granted, but that's more than yer man Mears has got anyway. Plus, his crazy tough-man attitude and priceless chat is great entertainment!
Not to take anything away from Ray Mears, though, because his show is equally good but in a different sort of way. His knowledge of nature's versatility and how it can be put to resourceful use is very impressive.

And Huung:

Aye, but you might want to take out the first step of that :D

The fact that he fell from several hundred feet without a parachute and still survived I think is testament alone to his ability to survive. (Or perhaps his blind luck?) Has anyone been watching the latest series, truly mental, I don't wanna ruin it for anyone who plans on watching it, but put it this way. He nearly dies in the very first episode about 15 minutes in. Also! The Cameraman speaks once, it's truly awesome, cuz he has the most polite voice I have ever heard :D.

I was watching, waiting for what was going to go wrong and was convinced it would be that when he started eating the honey he'd eat a bee and get stung in his mouth. Sadly not quite that bad, but made me cringe.

Who is this Ray Mears everyone is talking about? I watched Man vs Wild a little while, then I found Survivorman. And he's goddamned hardcore. No poncy crew and sleeping in beds and stuff like that :P

Check it out, I think you'll be generally less impressed with Bear afterwards...

I'm a regular viewer of all these shows, and I have to say that I enjoy Bear Grylls the most out of the three, sure, Les Stroud can do some pretty awesome things, but the journet ain't half as epic, he just stays in one place for several days, eating nothing, playing the harmonica, and then goes home. (It may seem like I'm dissing him, but I'm not he's awesome) I just find Bear Grylls to be more informative, and because he doesn't have to do all the camera work himself, it tends to be better shot.

I guess it depends on what you're after :) I find survivorman to be genuine to a whole other degree, because of the fact that he is, indeed, alone out there, with little to no help available. So the series is actually about surviving in these locations, as opposed to doing cool stunts with parachute lines and eating disgusting food (followed, I'm sure, by some nice rations) ;P (Yes, I'm dissing him a little, but it's all in good spirit)
