[i37] Camping/Accomodation Arrangements

With 2 months to go, I think we should start making solid plans about transport/food/camping.

So on that note:

Ronin has booked a room in the hostel. This is a twin room and due to the problems I have with my legs i've asked for first refusal on the second bed in that room as it's a twin room.

So there are 13 or 14 of us that will be camping!

This means we need tents..... so who has a tent and will be bringing it to the event, and how big are they and are you able to share it with other people?

Any preferences for camping buddies?

As far as I am aware, Haven and Fury are coming down on the friday and leaving on the sunday, so anything they bring won't count as I believe the rest of us are going to be there from the thursday to the monday :)

bob and I have tent of vibs, Assuming I'll be picking that up from his parents house on the wedding :)

as Trax says I'll have Vibs tent, it is officially a 4 man however when it is hot you don't want 4 in there especially as one of those men is me.
i need room to starfish when it is properly warm.

So that is me Trax and Nanor sorted, how goes it for the rest?

Yep, clearly I'm sorted with the hostel though I'll go halves on that with someone, with TB getting first shot as he says.

Ok so far:

Ronin is in the Hostel

Fury/Haven camping together
Solemn/Silk Camping together
Huung/Oblivion/Spicypixel together ???
Trax/Nanor/Bob camping together

That leaves:
Tetsuo
Iron Fist
Xarlaxas
Myself - might be in a tent, might be in a hostel.

So, need to sort out a tent for the Scottish Contingent, and *possibly* myself :)

I'll probably be bringing my dad's antique tent again, though it worked nicely at the gusty i33 when many newer models ended halfway up a tree! According to my dad it's designed to accomodate four, but I think threes the limit for it (and a very cosy three at that). Any other two folks are welcome to it, I'd probably say Fist and Xarlax since they're also coming down in the car with me. It probably wouldn't do your gammy legs and good, blokey :p

I'll split the hostel room with ronin then and assuming what I said about Huung is correct then we are all sorted unles anyone else has any other comments?

I know this isn't strictly camping but I thought I'd throw it out there. Would anyone be able to collect me from the Airport and bring me to Stoneleigh?

I'll be in my 2-man tent by myself like last summer, Pixel and Oblivion will have their own tents I would assume. One other thing; I've convinced the two of them to go Early Arrival, so all 3 of us will be there the first night to set up camp with you guys.
