[i40] Seating Arrangements

[strike]While not officially 100%, we are currently about 95% certain of getting a clanbox, after a conversation I just had on multiplay IRC. (basically I'm 2 refs short now, just waiting on 2 of the =WFB= guys, though I think they may still need to pay, maybe we could sort that out between us...)[/strike]

WE NOW HAVE A CLANBOX

You may have noticed that those of you who had seats already picked have now been moved to a box on Berkshire floor 3. This is one of the boxes. We'll need to sort out the other two bookings - I know one of the WFB guys will be paying by the end of next week but the other is a little short on cash at the moment so I'll probably get his ticket via a group booking and we can go from there

We need to now start thinking about who wants to sit where... If you take a look at the seat picker and then look at the Berkshire 3rd and 4th floor you will see how the boxes are laid out - you have 2 rows of 5, each of those are facing the walls, and then in the middle you have 2 rows of 6 people, facing each other.

Through various PMs and thread comments already I've had some requests for who wants to sit next to who, so either reply on this thread or if you prefer forum PM me and I'll try and come up with a plan that will suit everyone :)

Im not too bothered really. Either way we will all get to play together no matter where we sit.

I vote to sit next to either Huung, Oblivion, Chrononaut, Velaphor, bob or iron, or, anyone. but the preferences have been set.

Oh or trax, but trax might not want me :(

Other than that, near my lot would be cool, could stick the 5 of us along one of those walls? Something like:

Chronie, Oblivion, Spicy, Huung, Vel

Can i have one of the seats by the window in the middle 2 rows if we do get the clanbox. e.g. B3-F6 or B3-G6 sort of location :)

Don't mind who I sit next to really. I'll prob get to know a chunk of you in person anyway. Of course theres the few I've already met IRL, but im not massively fussed about desperately sitting next to them.

Just a quick thing to mention, we have the 4 =WFB= guys to think about too.

My current thinking with those guys was to have them plus me on one of the walls.

If we're gonna stick Chronie, spicy, oblivion, huung and velaphor on the other wall, that means the other 12 of you are gonna be in the middle.

Any objections/comments to that?

The other option is to stick the 4 WFB guys on the end of the middle section, such that they are 2 on each side but can easily move round - meaning 8 of us in the middle then 5 either side.

Don't care who I sit with but its worth noting that I only wear slippers (and occasionally headphones) whilst gaming and I tend to do lots of bouncing when excited.

One is not bothered about whom I sit beside AT ALL, but would not mind sitting adjacent to fist (as is tradition), roninski or gomblicious.
I should be probably be one of the 'end of row' people since I might have a large telly, and I'll be on my lonesome playing the trey/guild wars probably anyways. If you could get my other side on a wall rather than a walking space that would be top drawer.

I wonder if I can fit my 32" tv in the car/on the desk?

This is going to turn into one of those complicated logic problems.

"Billy wants to sit next to Jim and Fred but nowhere near Sally.

Sally wants to sit next to Jim.

Jim likes bananas.

Fred wants to sit near Sally and Gus. Fred hates bananas."

;)

Off the top of my head, I'd be happy sat anywhere near Haven, Tetsuo, Iron, Trax or Bob. I'm sure I've missed someone somewhere... :p
