I am expecting that with the end of the early bird discount tonight, then tomorrow (2nd June, certainly by the end of this week by the LATEST) the Seating planner will be opened for people to seat themselves.
While we still do not have a confirmed box, we need to get ourselves sat together on that plan when it comes up, so that if we don't end up getting a box, we'll still all be sat together.
Now I've had a sneak preview of what the seating planner is going to look like, based on this, my current suggestion is that, when it does go live, we seat ourselves back-to-back across two rows so that we don't have to go round a whole row to talk to each other.
My current suggestion would be to go bang in the middle of the TF2 area, in seats H1-R11 to H1-R25, and then back to back with seats H1-S11 to H1-S25. This has the added bonus of being near the tuck shop/helpdesk, which is bang in the middle of both halls
To begin with, only Hall 1 will be available for seating, if/when hall 2 opens we shall have to see about switching then...
I am perfectly happy to be everyone's seating manager again, so please make me your seat manager in the seating planner ASAP
Now, for those of you who have not done this before, a quick tutorial:
How to seat yourself in the Seating Planner
For now, please don't worry about who you are/are not sat next to or near. We just need to perform a bit of a land grab on the planner so that we can make sure we are sat next to each other. We can then worry about who's sitting where after we've got a block of seats together (and this will likely become irrelevant if/when we get a box anyway).

Now, for those of you who have not done this before, a quick tutorial:
How to seat yourself in the Seating Planner
- First, go to the i43 seating planner here: http://iseries.multiplay.co.uk/seating/index.php
- Log in using the dialog in the top left with your Multiplay account.
- Make sure that your name and booking ID are listed in the combo box that will appear in the top left.
- Assuming the above is correct, simply click on an empty square on the planner to then be asked if that is where you want to sit. Each seat has a number that will be prefixed by either H1 or H2 (Hall 1 or Hall 2) - assuming this is the correct seat you want, confirm this in the dialog that appears (derp).
- Log in to the seating planner, as above
- Find me in the planner. I am sat here: H1-R11. You can either click on my seat directly, assuming you can find it (hover over each seat for a tooltip with its seat number), OR you can use the search box on the left to search for "thatbloke" (me...).
- Once you have either clicked or searched, a box should pop up below the search box that has a large coloured in box with my seat number on it, it will also list my clan tag, nickname and my real name.
- On said box, there will be an option stating Make Manager of your Seat. Click it, and then confirm it in the dialog, after checking again to make sure that it's me.
- Please note that once you have done this, I can freely move your seat around. You may from time to time get an email saying something about you having received a seating request. If I have caused some such requests to be generated, I will make a post in this thread. If I have made no such post, then please let me know and I can deal with it for you.
