...for those who are interested.

tabbed browsing, RSS support, and some nifty new security features. And I can install flash! Fantastic! bye-bye, mozilla(And I'ts _only_ because of the flash/movie issues. Sad, really).

Although I'll post up any weird stuff that happens over at .tech. Or here. We'll see.

Give me the web dev toolbar for IE and we'll talk.

And what's this flash issue?

well, it won't display any of the icons on this site. That's a bit annoying. It also does something to the font, I think it makes it bigger and fatter and less distinct. And the RSS feed won't work. Yes, this is a beta, alright.

Warning!

If you install IE7B before installing BF2 Euro Force, the EA Downloader application will not work as it relies on IE6 code

Firefox has tabbed browsing and RSS support. Flash, movies, and Java work FINE in Firefox, and if you're using standard mozilla, shame on you =(

Heh, I have IE5 Beta 2 kicking about somewhere... :) it seems I've been beta-testing MS's stuff for as long as I can remember. But I'm not using this one - I'll wait for the real thing, thanks :).

no, they don't. I can't even install flash. It's not only me who has this problem, either. But adobe doesn't give a sh*t, and there's nothing on it on the firfox support pages.

Adobe? Are you having problems with PDF's? Don't you mean Macromedia?

And yes, I've had problems in the past installing firefox plugins - on one occasion the program crashed with routine updates (I think it was 1.0.3 -> 1.0.4) and also installing some plugins. :(

Hmm I can watch flash movies in firefox no problem, although the one thing that doesn't seem to work is wave files integrated into web pages that don't play. Firefox says there is a missing plugin and tries to install apple quicktime, even though I have it already (good example is watching some of the ytmnd pages).

I currently have the Beta of the new Windows Live Messenger... I loaded it up and every single group and contact I have EVER had (i.e. ones i have deleted) are now on my list... :D

Ach, no it's just me being out of date as usual. :| I'll return to my hermit-hole now...

I'd consider this a feature. :D

But yeah, quicktime gave me issues in the past, doesn't anymore.

I do remember a small thing about flash 8 conflicting with the adblock extension, but that's been fixed in the newest version of adblock, so try grabbing that.
