ilite vs iseries

For the purposes of meeting friends, and the purposes of this discussion, friends from THN, what are the advantages of iseries over ilite?

Other than tournaments and competitive events.

I am not suggesting ilite is superior, though i cant help wonder why its always the large lans when we meet up when it doesn't have to be.

larger events will have more people going to them so its easier to get to. Me bloke and bob were going to try going to one of the i lites this year but finding a way to get there but its a bit tricky as none of us have cars.

a lot of people also can't justify the cost for a smaller event and would prefer to goto a larger event to meet more people if given the option.
