Image problems on the forum.

I have been noticing over the last few days a few image problems on the forum with images showing up as text rather than the image I have noticed it with avatars and both the "Post Icons" of a thread and the new posts/now new post images.

I have got examples of both the avatars and post icons being missing below.

Small update, I noticed it just as I closed a page with the wow sign up thing on it and it was present there too, instead of one of the race pictures the phrase "Male Tauren" was there. Just in case it helps.

at least some of the wow ones will be related to the constant stream of "file does not exist" that show in the apache error_log file, whether that is a bug with the plugin or linked to this i'm not sure

it also seems mousing over the offending image causes it to appear so that makes me wonder if there is a renedering bug in FF

icon4.gif is the image, working fine here. I cannot replicate the issue on firefox 3.5.1. Nothing in the apache logs indicates any issue serving the image to clients. Will keep an eye out.

Maybe there is something corrupted in your cache?

Try clearing the cache and see if the problem persists...

To elaborate, it's not the same image every time, and sometimes it's one instance of a repeated image (the new post indicator for instance) not showing up. Now that I think about it, that likely means client bug.
