IMPORTANT: Guild Proposals

Sorry if this is me coming across as a little too headstrong but ive decided to put forward my own suggestions regarding the guild structure.

1: we NEED a Trial-raider rank, im meant to be recruiting people for raiding and yet there is not a rank i can promote them to which signifies them as a raider. i could then promote them to 'progression' but then id have to note them as trial but id much rather have trial-raider as a rank.

2: on non raiding nights [i.e. mon-thurs] we should aim to have a guild heroic run each day at an agreed upon time probably around 6-7pm server time and to save arguments go to the daily heroic.
this will hopefully get more and more people involved in the guild because other than raiding nights our guild is dead.
We should also make it mandatory, or atleast an expectation that people ranked progression or higher will attend atleast one guild heroic a week.

3: Can we please endevour to get raiding events up on the guild calendar ASAP, prerfable by monday or tuesday, its annoying to hear people asking if the sign up is there and finding out its not when its a thursday night

Ill come up with more suggestions soon but please gimme your thoughts on this

That is a staggeringly good point and why didn't any of us think of this sooner...? I'll grab the others to talk about it and sort something out when I can.

Also, sticking with the Daily Heroic is a fantastic idea, as the new badge loot is obscenely good and getting people to get it faster can only benefit our raiding. Obviously, if the group that goes decides that the given daily is undoable for them, they can do another, but that's just common sense, cha?

I believe we already said something about this but nothing was formally arranged, so yes, it'd be a good idea. I'll talk with Zooggy about setting it up on the calendar.

On that note, we need to make people more aware of the calendar and use of the forums in general...

Also ive noticed the recruitment template thing doesnt actually ask new members whether or not they have teamspeak or are willing to install it. its usually a safe presumtion they will use it but it is best to make sure seeing as we have had issues in the past with people not using TS and it should be mandatory

There's still lots to do, but it is good to see people thinking and acting. I have a few suggestions too, like a once a month fun-run to pre-TBC instances, just to keep the heritage alive and such. And organizing low-level boosting/xp runs for lower lvl members. But all that will probably swing into place as soon as the structure is nailed down.

As for now I am proud to be part of this fun group of go-getters that seems so eager to go and get. (Not sure where they are going and what they're getting, but I heared rumours about pie...)

With the coming officer's meeting(s) I expect a lot of things to fall into place and nailed down, so we can post finalized versions of all plans, structures and schedules. So we're getting there.

Haven keeps eating all the pie.

But on the off-chance that there is any pie left, you can be next in line :)

Regarding doing the Pre TBC raids, its a good idea but for now we should ignor it, the current lv 70 raids should be our main aim and i fel considering doing the pre TBC raids will distract us from that.

Perhaps once were well underway with 25 man raids then we can.

Also for those who eventually send forth invitations to new applicants, please promote them to trial raider straight away to avoid confusion.

When the new applicants manage to prove themselves and do get promoted to progression, who ever promotes them please make sure to update the guild layout in the recruitment section so the numbers in our guild are constantly updated so it saves having to redo that from scratch.

Trial-raider rank can also be used for people who've been in the guild pre-70, have reached 70, and have started gearing up. This includes people such as Hellnubis and Sabrine
