I think this would give you an added tactical advantage to gameplay as well. I am thinking of the situation where you are being shot at by an enemy who is not in front of you. The feeling of the bullets hitting would let you know where the bullets are coming from.
some gamers tried to get them banned at tournaments / lans because of an 'unfair' advantage.
