Does anyone remember the device that was invented to disperse groups of kids hanging around by emitting a high pitched noise that adults can't hear? Well the kids have now turned the tables. They have adapted the device and turned it into a ringtone. The idea is that they can keep their mobiles on during class and kow when they get a text without the teacher hearing the tone.
I admire the kids ingenuity, but it apparently won't work until the teachers are middle aged (40+). I was certainly able to hear it (but it so high pitched it hurt my ears). Also, I have to ask whats wrong with having it set to vibrate?
