While doing the rounds, I came across Gamespot's article on the Independent Games Festival that features games from smaller developers, often school or college kids, with talent.

- The Awakening - zombies, uh, more zombies, and barricaded doors! Multiplayer UT2004 mod.
- Eclipse - HL2 fantasy total conversion, single player as far as I can tell.
- Goliath - stand-alone vehicle combat game, but that doesn't seem to be all there is... multiplayer and singleplayer.
- The Soulkeeper - UT2004 mod with swords and sorcery and dragon mounts. (their website is Flash hell)
