Instancing...

I think we can all agree that last nights instance runs were very successful. Whilst it probably had a lot to do with the over all power levels of the group, I think we encountered very little that was even difficult in the sunken temple.

I propose that we build upon this, and try to get up to UBRS. I don't think there is much left to do in the sunken temple, and I think the next target should be black rock depths.

Umbrator and I have already cleared most, if not all of blackrock depths between us in pick up groups. It is a little harder than ST, but i think the voice communication plays a large role in our ability to work as a team, and as such it will pose no problem. Perhaps my insistance on using raid icons was a bit of a waste of time, considering. Blackrock and the undead instances in the plaguelands represent a source of loot for pvp funnage.

Does anyone agree with me on this?

is there any chance you higher lever guys could help us lower levels out. maybe tag along with our low level group and help us out. Then we can do 2 groups on these instances.

I think bloke will be back on by next wednesday if i know him!!!

Last night was great fun.
Zul'farak was a cake walk, and the rewards which it produced were excellent. I am up for returning there for a loot run anytime.
Sunken Temple was fun x2, but obviously more difficult. Umbrator's cockyness on the edge of the final drop was a sight to behold, it was even funnier when he fell to his death 5 seconds later.

Blackrock is the next logical step for me, and I am more than up for going in asap.

The raid icon designating worked fine for me. When it was used early on in the instance, I thought we worked our way through the mobs a hell of a lot quicker and easier. Just charging in on any target confused everybody, and didnt help set up the AoE attacks. The wipe we had on the big Dragon was unfortunate, but typical when not all the party members had been in there before. It also helps when clearing out a whole room, as on a number of occasions last night, people were talking about two different mobs.

Also.. I am always more than happy to help out people with low level characters. If I remember right Bex, you and Tbloke are in the mid 30's. The Scarlet monastery sounds ideal for you. This instance is in 4 sections, and can be done seperately in 30/40 min each. Then you could also try RFD and RFK in the Barrens. Both well within your range.

Ideally though, a group of 4 same level chars, and a higher level char, would benefit you the most. Maybe putting up an event on the boards, or shouting out your intentions in the WoW Instancing thread would get you your ideal grouping well in advance.
