Intelligent Design Mod

As you may know a lot of us used to play a great game called Natural Selection a RTS/FPS game. But due to a lot of problems within the mods creator group. Things there died a death.

Awww you may say. But something is now rising from those ashes........

The concept may sound familiar, some of the names you may recognise. But it is different and may be worth keeping an eye on.

Could be an interesting mod. And I've signed up there, in preparation for THN spamming mode.

So has the development of NS simply stopped, or what? What's the situation with everything?

The forums died..... and never came back, Flayra (the lead designer) got so interested in getting money for his company it hasn't gotten back up again.

Interestingly the Zunni mentioned in Intelligent Design Mod was the Lead PR guy for NS a while back.

The forums sucked anyway - they were run by the NS nazi elite crew who deleted and banned at random ... and yes I was heavily censored on the NS forums for my views about the testing process *grumbles loudly* ... but then I just posted up my thoughts on THN Instead

I think the new mod will be worth looking at in another six months. If they are only starting on the concept art stage then its very early days. I wish them luck however.

It's amazing when you do a Google search for 'Zunni "Intelligent Design"' what you come up with.

Thanks for the support, and it's true we are still in early stages, but we released our back story yesterday and now are focussing on finishing our gameplay design documents. When these are done, we can begin the long coding process.

Hi Zuni

Welcome to our humble abode I'm certain that once you get to beta testing stage there will be plenty of ravenous THN'ers wanting a look at your mod so I'll definately keep an eye on development.

In the meantime if you need a little downtime then join us for a few games of something - there's plenty of games/mods on offer that we all play Hope to catch you online.
