So, i have never owned an mp3 player, and i am planning to buy one in the next month, i have used an ipod nano, cheers ghostwolf, but i do not know if there is a competitor, and before i just go out and buy an ipod nano, i figured i'd see if theres an alternative?

If phones come up, i wont buy another phone, but feel free to point them out.

I have an old iPod nano (before they put a colour screen on), which I never use. Was gonna say you could have that if you wanted, but guess not if you've already bought something else!

Anyone else want it? Will put up full details tomorrow morning when I'm not on my iPhone.

Thanks for the offer eld, its not like me to to be so decisive, but as i've been so long without an mp3 player, while everyone else has been enjoying them I jumped on it. FYI it was £55 for both items.

This^ good battery life and solid format support and arguably industry leading sound quality. Onto a winner there, plus you can always get a 64gb SD card one day.
