Heya,
next time I'm having a long absence I'll ask super nice if I can keep both in.
Thank you for being a sport.
Still, for you and anyone else interested in this theme, I usually start pruning alts around the three month absence mark. People that I know are away for long periods but consistently come back (like, say, Adriss), I usually stretch it out to the six month mark.
But, no matter how nice you ask or how much I like you, if you are away for more than six months, there's a high chance that your alts will be kicked.
The only exceptions to this, in honor of their long service to the guild, are Lith, because he GMed for a gazillion years, T-Bone, because he's unbreakable, and Haven, because, well, because the guild is bloody well named after him!
Cheers,
J.
P.S. And if, for some reason, I don't know who you are, your
mains are likely to be kicked after two or three months' absence. So, if you're going to be away but plan on coming back,
post on these forums about it...
