The first one had some real bits of comedy genious, I still haven't seen the second one yet. I hope the series doesn't go on for much longer, though; I'm fed up with all this Shrek hype that floats around.

Mint trailer i loved the other films they were amaizin and this one looks even funnyier cant wait for it. And those little donkey dragons, makes u think how the hell can a donkey and a dragon mate? sick to think about it

See, now thats why I don't want to watch Shrek 2 I love being the odd one out that hates Shrek. Mind you, it'd be unfair to single out Shrek because I hate ALL animated comedies. Toy Story was great! Bugs Life and Antz and all that were starting to tire it out, Shrek was probably the last funny one - Robots, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo and, indeed, the Shrek sequels have really taken it too far. Maybe not so much the fact they aren't good, but the fact that all this CG animation has phased out your proper 'toon animation. Long live the toon revolution!!!

But ... I hate ... Simpsons. Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad ... all the same utter bullshit regurgitated in different guises. When I said toons, I meant Tom and Jerry, or Lion King, and stuff along those lines. I don't mind cartoon mixed with CG, because then the CG contrasts lovely with the 2d toon cells and just makes it awesome.

Yes, that needs to be in capitals! Those 3 shows alone have made me piss myself laughing on more then 100 occasions! GAH!
Must hold back from giving negative rep for just a personal view... Must hold back...
Edit: Also, Monsters, Inc., though I saw it in the cinema where there were lots of 5-10 year old kids as well, was one of the funniest movies ever. I almosted pissed myself laughing. Like, actually pissed myself. So many great references for adults in there...
