To be honest, I bet most countries have plans to strike others with the use of nuclear weapons. In fact, I'm almost certain of it. What's the point of having nukes if you don't even think about using them. I mean, if nuclear war did break out, and you hadn't planned how you would use your supply, you'd be a bit buggered...

That said, we're lucky enough then none of these plans have (since WWII) be put into action. Just because Israel has plans, doesn't mean they will use them. Hopefully they will discuss the plans, and see that using tactical nuclear weapons would pretty much turn the world against them.

In conclusion, don't be surprised, I'm sure the UK has hundreds of plans involving nukes. And don't get (too) worried, as I'm sure they won't be used...

Edit - oh, and training their bombers to use "Bunker Busters", well, the US and UK use them all the time, especially after 9/11, so don't be worried about them either. Or if you do, complain that we used them first.

Oh, and Nanor, I'll have to kill you now you let the secret government plan involving me and Defcon out of the bag! It was nice knowing you! :D

Look this is not that bad. It is fact that the US still has nukes aimed at Russian cities and vice versa and there are many more countries who do the same (Britian, France, China, Pakistan and India). And tbh its always been in the back of many peoples minds that Israel will never let there be another mass murder of their own people so if desperate actions needed to be taken then they almost certianly would use it.

However if Isreal were to strike Iran they would never strike a city of other populus area unless say for some reason they were struck first. Israel's special 'tactical' nukes (e.g. smaller than the Hiroshima bomb) include special bombs called Neutron bombs. These leave virtually no fallout and have a very small blast radius compared to conventional nukes. They are still very powerful and Israel would use these to strike at Irans nuclear facilities so as to knock out their capability of making a bomb.

Also theres no need to worry about major powers with massive arsenals of nukes such as the US, Russia, China and so on getting involved as this is a fued between Iran and Israel and even though we and the US are allied with Israel we would never use nukes unless we were threatened ourselves.

Sp my conclusion, even if a strike does happen, I'm sure we won't be affected by it and there won't be a World War 3.
