Now my knoledge of raiding is gappy at best but i was wondering since your running khara a lot and have it on farm and as far as i know u dont need to get a key to get into zulaman...well the thing i was wondering is the next phase serpant shrine, black temp, mags lair and Hyjal..well as far as i know they have to be accesed thru tough pre quests i.e the triple quest in heroics (not sure wat that opens) and the vials of eternity for SS.

well what im gettin at is ..these are really nasty places an to get to them aint easy but not ..impossible, especially for some of the members ive already met so is there some kind of rotation for gettin the heroics done at least .. or maybe im behind the times an u already do this ..was just wondering.

Btw what does the 3 heroics quest open?(the one u get of the guy in the middle of shat after u have done shadow moon area) is it BT?
Also if thrs any super nerds out thr i for one would love to see a blog on instances and whats needed to acces them or a link if its already done , just some ideas thx guys.

Although the quests are still there and the DO have their advantages by opening up the various faction rewards to you once they have been completed, the attunements themselves have been removed. This means that even if you do not have the Kara key or the SSC attunement or whatever then you can still go into the instances.

We are aiming to get guild runs to heroics sorted soon so that people can go to the various instances and, er, do stuff :)

The quests from A'dal in Shattrath after doing the quest to kill the Firelord in Shadowmoon used to be for attunement to Tempest Keep. However, it will now instead get you the title "Champion of the Naaru". Similarly, the old Black Temple attunement (which you did by doing quests in Shadowmoon that lead to you talking to Akama, who's hidden away in the Warden's Cage, and led on through SSC and TK), will now give the title "Hand of A'dal". The only attunements left in the game are the Heroic ones. You need to do the Kara attunement if you want to have a key to open the gate, but other people can now open the gate for you, just like with the Arcatraz or Shattered Halls.

The only attunements that are still needed are the pre-TBC ones; Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, Onyxia's Lair, and Naxxramas.

It's worth noting, however, that certain rep-rewards might not be obtainable without doing the old attunement; this is certainly true of Hyjal attunement (Scale of the Sands rep), but I don't know if it hold true with the Ashtongue Deathsworm (BT) or Violet Eye (Kara). Anyone know?

you need ashtounge rep to get the recipies for shadow ress gear you need for the last bosses of BT and you can get a crappy trinket.

scale of the sands rep reward only epic JC recipies, and upgrading your ring

becides that you get a really nice ring if you coplete the BT attunement ring of eternity witch work like the one you get from kara

one more silly question tho...how come wen new raid guilds raid they farm khara and grull after then they go Zulaman...where does magrathon come in ..i hardly EVER hear anyone talkin about raiding him yet isnt he like Ony, a really small instance good for farming grt gear? just wondering what order he fits in to things an why hes such a bark horse of raiding?

Also..:) what do u get when u get exalted with the 3 factions in ether aldor/scryers , the big guy at the back with goggles on ?
i almost have the last exalted rating but wondered if it was worth it?

Gruul is the easiest of the 25-man raids to do, made even easier by the presence of the "Unstable Flasks" you can get for a pittance from the Ogri'la related stuff. Magtheridon is another step up, but people do still do him; it's just faster than many raids, is all. It is only one encounter, after all.

Zul'aman is supposedly a mid-way stop between Gruul/Maggy and SSC/TK, but with stuff for the Tier 6 people to come back and do as well.

Oh, and the chap who wants you to be exalted with all the factions sells Flasks that only work in BT/MH/SWP, and require you to hand in dropped tokens. There's other stuff that you'll get for all those Exlateds, I reckon.
