Keyboard Help

Here's my problem -

When playing CoD2, If I lean left/right (q/e), move (a,s,d,w) and hold my breath whilst scoping (shift) at the same time, my keys lock and I cant move until I release shift again. Im not sure whether its this keyboard, a setting I have turned on (Sticky Keys, perhaps?) or some kind of fault, but it annoys me. Happened on my old PC as well. Was playing Donkey Kong 3 on an emulator and was trying to glide, slow mo, and move right at the same time, but I didnt seem able to press all 3 keys at once.

Any ideas as to why this is happening to me?

Turn sticky keys off, and also there should be something in control panel that lets you change the maximum amount keyboard input that can go in at once... That's how it is on my computer anyway...

Shift shouldn't be a blocking key, for sure. Check your accessibility settings to ensure that sticky keys doesn't come on, but even then that doesn't smell like the problem. Have you tried moving hold breath to left control?

What keyboard do you have? Have you installed any drivers for it?

Regular MS keyboard, no drivers installed. I turned off Sticky keys a while back, but to no avail.

I didnt think keyboards needed drivers? (least not the basic ones)

I tend to buy the higher spec keyboards that sometimes need the drivers for the extra keys. In fact, I almost ubiquitously use ergonomic keyboards these days, and they always come with a plethora of buttons for extra functions.

I guess Google hasn't revealed any answers?

Big 'G' was never queried. I might do so, sometimes it turns up the answer.

Ubiquitious, I never thought Id see that word actually used. When is someone going to use piacular? :)
