L4D2 server opens

I've just completed an install for a THN L4D2 server. Currently it's a free-for-all, defaulting to hard difficulty. If people have trouble getting on then I'll fire up a second, private/steamgroup-only server.

Shout if there are problems.

For the moment, I've taken the original L4D servers offline and put up another L4D2 server set as private. Figure that the vast majority will be playing the new release over the old release and that having a server to advertise THN and a server for THNers only is a good idea.

Any chance we can set the private one to default to expert Ronin?

Yes, though someone will need to look up what the config option for expert is. For example "Advanced" is actually "Hard" in the config.

Ahhh wondered why it was offline last night - there's a few of us still on L4D1 so I'll bring it back up for when we next need it.

I've only taken it offline this morning so that wasn't the reason. I suspect it was behind on patches, instead.

yeah that was my initial thought also until I saw your posting
