TRAVEL DIRECTIONS TO THE STUDIO:
BY TUBE: The nearest tube station is Hammersmith, served by the Piccadilly, District and Hammersmith & City lines. It is about five minutes walk from the tube stations to The Hammersmith Apollo.
If arriving on either the Piccadilly or District lines: Exit the tube by the rear exit which brings you out next to Tesco's. Follow the signs to the Apollo, going through the subway.
If arriving on the Hammermith & City line: Exit the station and cross over the road straight in front of you. Cross over King Street and walk past Bar 38 on your right. Head towards St. Paul's Church which is straight in front of you. With the church on your right you should see the Apollo directly in front of you, behind the flyover.
BY BUS: To Hammersmith Broadway; numbers 9, 9a, 11, 27, 33, 72, 91, 220, 283 & 295. Further details of bus routes can be found at http://www.tfl.gov.uk/
BY ROAD: Hammersmith is easily accessible by road and some limited parking is available on local residential streets. Turn off the A40 onto Hammermsith Broadway roundabout. Turn left into Queen Caroline Street. The Apollo Theatre is on the left.
PARKING: Crisp Road and the surrounding roads are all resident/ticket parking between 08.00 and 18.30. The charge is £1.60 per hour. Blue Badge Holders can park free of charge. Alternatively, the nearest car park is Kings Mall Car Park, Glenthorne Road, W6 0LJ.
DRESS CODE: As you, our audience, will be featured on screen, do feel free to dress to impress! Smart, dressy, glamorous...it's up to you! Do feel free to get some colour in your outfits so that you can spot yourselves on the telly! Clothes prominently displaying brand names will not be permitted, and black clothing should be avoided.
ADMISSION: Entry is subject to studio capacity. We do over-issue tickets by a percentage to compensate for inevitable no-shows. While we hope to accommodate everyone, we suggest that you aim to arrive early to avoid disappointment. Seating is allocated on a first-come first-served basis. The doors to the Apollo open to allow access to the bar at 6.00pm but you are welcome to come and check in any time from 5.15pm onwards to collect your seat allocation. When you arrive, join the priority queue so that you can be checked in and issued your numbered seat allocation to gain access to the venue. The priority queue will be the line on the left, entering the building via the left-hand entrance at the front of the building. The Hammersmith Apollo is a large venue so there will be a lot of people there. Please be patient while we check everyone in. As you may be waiting outside while we process those in front of you, do dress appropriately. We shall be positioned just inside the front entrance, issuing each audience member with their numbered seat allocation so that, if you would like to and there is sufficient time, you may then visit the bar before the auditorium doors open at 6.30pm. As you have priority tickets, it is imperative that you and your party arrive and check in by 6.20pm at the latest. After this time, priority seats will be released. You may not collect seat allocations for others. If members of your party arrive at different times, they will not be allowed to join each other further in the queue. To be as fair as we can to everyone, we ask everyone to join the end of the line at the time that they arrive. Therefore, if you wish to sit together, please arrive and check in together. Priority spaces are held until the time mentioned above.
