LiveValidation

LiveValidation is a small open source javascript library built for giving users real-time validation information as they fill out forms. Not only that, but it serves as a sophisticated validation library for any validations you need to make elsewhere, it is not just limited to form fields.

It's also on the MIT license so it's good to include in projects you're working on!

oooh shiny, only problem is javascript is easily got-round-able. Hence I do all my validation server side. But it is a nice tool none the less.

Ya, to be clear it's no substitute for well protected code but it can really speed things up for the user if they can see what's happening as they type.
