Gamespot have published an article on making Oblivion look pretty. Yeah, it looked pretty decent to start with but I was sold that they knew what they were talking about on the very first mouse-over comparison image.

Works for me also.
Id say that a few of individual mods make it look a bit better, but the picture with all the mods turned on looked worse. All the colours were heavily oversaturated, it made it look like Mario's Mushroom Kingdom. Perhaps if the saturation was toned down a bit, and that daft ability to see the underwater rocks removed, it would look better.
