We can only update once this updates, so won't be supporting Minecraft 1.6 until Notch releases a nice stable version of 1.6, not a "stable" broken version :D

Scrap that, Havens updated it anyway, so youll have to update to 1.6 to connect.

I'd recommend backing up your 1.5 client install in case we do need to roll back as there are bugs atm in the server that apparently make it unplayable...

My client auto-updated to 1.6 which prompted the server upgrade as Zeejins did the same. As mentioned in the dev list email there is a backup from before the update was done so we can probably roll the server back and keep the world files with no issues should we need to.

Are you not running the launcher that notch made a few months ago?

Try downloading the minecraft exe again and see if its any different to what youve got atm

It's a forum sig / status thing for servers. Basically runs a deamon in the minecraft plugins which enables something somewhere to communicate with it..

What did you do to your ssh access?? I have ssh access but not hl / minecraft user (not sure who its running as atm)

I was hoping more for a sample image of what the things look like, which I can't seem to find there!

And I'm on my phone, and went way over my fair use policy, so I can only get web access, and nothing else, thus the lack of SSH.

Find someone with the hl2 user, they should be able to kick it on.

I could install it, but I still don't know what it actually displays

I could go ahead and whack this on but it'll require a restart.

Have updated server to the latest dev build which supports 1.6.6, but have had to disable minecartmania for the time being. Once we get a stable version of bukkit to support 1.6.6, I'll keep an eye on updates for plugins.

Have updated the bukkit server to the latest recommended build now.
