RIP Colin McRae! One of British motorsport's most endearing ambassadors (particularly for us Scots), it's a terrible loss Over twenty years of flinging high-performance cars round dirt tracks at speeds exceeding 100mph, only for him to die in a helicopter accident. I still can't believe it ...

Every 18 months or so, there is always a VIP that dies in a helicopter crash. Helicopters are dangerous machines that need to be very well maintained and of course very difficult to fly.

I just wonder about rich people and their toys....
