Linked but at a tangent, have you tried Rome: Total War with the Total Realism modification? I have a preference for that period of history and I'd be up for a battle or two.

By the by, if you've not checked it out you can search through all member's profiles on the member list page to see if anyone ticked the Medieval: Total War game in their profile. Also, in a similar vein, check out [thread=227]my thread[/thread] summarising the numbers of who is playing what (according to their profiles).

ok thanks ronin i shall check, i didnt really feel like getting rome because i didnt believe it looked that good but ill look into it a bit more, but in need to save money as im going skiing soon

I personally prefer the medieval period of history, but I don't think I'd reinstall Medieval: TW now after playing Rome. Maybe I should check the Total Realism mod.
