Well well, glad to see you guys are still totally active in TheHavenNet. You always seemed like a pretty ballin' bunch. I'm guessing you've gone through some big changes since last I was here. I coulda sworn I had an account here before, but I had to make a new one. Still looks pretty much the same though =D Good to know I recognize a few people here. Duren, Macca... well that's about it really.

Anyway, none of you know me because I never did anything with you guys. You, however, did something with me. Or at least, with a game I play. A loooong while ago. I'd be impressed if more than 3 of you remember playing it. It's called Mercenary Lords, and the game is resetting on Friday. I thought I would let THN know because a lot of old players are returning, and I figured you might want in on that action too. Though I might suspect the interest in this is pretty low as Macca has not informed you about this little event.

In any case, the game has changed drastically since last any of you besides Macca played. I'm sure it would be a great rediscovery of the game for anybody that played it before. And man, how cool it would be for the alliances THN and Pwnt 2 to be alongside each other again. But now I'm rambling.

If interested, poke your head into www.mecenarylords.com though I warn you, the admin is completely screwing around with the website in honor of the game resetting. It's a little insane at the moment, but it will be over on Friday when it resets.

I'm sorry I didn't describe the game at all, but I'm not trying to get a bunch of people from THN into playing a new game. I'm only trying to notify old players.

Welcome to THN one way or another. It's entirely possible that you had an account here a while ago though it may either have been lost in our software switch a couple of years ago or, more recently, in the intermittent inactive user clean-ups we do.

Thanks for letting us know about the Mercenary Lords update. As you say, a bunch of THNers were interested in ML a while back so maybe they'll be interested in taking another look or even pulling a few other members along with them.

Feel free to stick around regardless if that suits you.

Ah yeah I tried that before. I hung around here for a little while, but then I realized I hardly play any big online games and therefore don't really go well with the community. My internet connection is kinda shoddy Though I can play a few games on it.

I was wondering what you were doing in these neck of the woods when I saw your name Chape . I didn't even think of posting about the reset here :/, I guess I just thought that no-one would be interested. I have made a few threads before about ML but no-one else really clicked on. Duren might fancy it again, and I know that Haven and KC and that played it for a little while aswell...

Yes, I did play that for a little while. I recall your name, but that's about all I remember about you . I think I stopped because I had better things to do.. or maybe it was because I hit a wall in progress that I couldn't seem to get by. Eh, either way it was because I was too lazy to keep up with playing =D

Glad to hear from you Duren. It's been ages. And Macca, very happy to hear from you! I haven't seen you in years! Er, wait, maybe it was days.

Oh and the game seems to be broken right now (probably from the admin messing around with it as a joke too much) so I'm not sure you'll be able to register/login as of right now. Which is a shame, because you're missing out on some huge lulz. The gameplay map has been converted from fields to spinning rainbow colors (think epileptic seizures), all of our characters are now either zombies or Rick Astley, and there are looping videos of a Rick Roll and MacGyver smacking some guy at the top of every page. It's pure insanity.


EDIT: Game just reset a few hours ago. Yep, 2 days early.
